Eclipse Bay - by Jayne Ann Krentz - Book Review

I'm now reading the Eclipse trilogy from Jayne Ann Krentz, an easy to read romance novel that has family and romantic relationships. I enjoyed reading this novel because it had love and mystery in it. Here is my summary and review:

Summary:

Hannah Harte was a prim and proper goody-two shoes, or so she was told by badboy Rafe Madison. Rafe had a less than stellar reputation and most people thought that he was up to no good. Each family feuded with the other for over three generations. One night Hannah and Rafe share some time on a beach, the same night a murder happens, and that changes their lives forever.

Eight years later Hannah owns a wedding consultant business and Rafe has made a ton of money by investing his money in stocks. When Hannah's aunt Isabel leaves her mansion to both of them it forces them to come back together and come to an agreement on the mansion. Hannah wants to buy Rafe's half of the house and turn it into an Inn. Rafe discovers that they have the same idea for the mansion, he wants to make it an Inn and restaurant. It is unheard of for a Harte and Madison to be partners, but the mansion forces them to come to an unlikely conclusion -and it gives Eclipse Bay something to talk about. Meanwhile they work on solving an eight year old murder, and the suspects are endless.

Review: Enjoyed it!

I give this book a 3 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed the mystery most of all and of course the romance was a plus. I got a true feel for the characters and who they are. The characters are diverse and it makes a good story.
