This book was not as entertaining as the first three because the book could have easily ended in the middle. Vanni and Paul's story was only part of this book the rest was about the other lives in Virgin River. Paul does not act manly enough for me in this book and Vanni comes off as being a serious pain in the arse. Not one of my favorite of this series. It took me a while to read because I kept losing interest.

This book was okay, but I really missed the attraction and romance part. It was in there, yes, but I didn't get a real sense of a strong attraction between the hero and heroine. It seemed Becca was too busy hiding secrets to have a love affair with Trace. I was disappointed that they didn't get together and make the sparks fly like they did when they kissed, supposedly. Other than that, it was a good book. I don't think I'll be reading any more Special Edition Harlequins because they seem to have less romance in them......

Christian wanted to discover the softer side of the tough-talking paramedic, but hasn't counted on how much the real Leanne affects him. He's vowed never to settle down, but under the mistletoe it's certainly the season to be tempted.

This was a good book! I loved the way the hard as nails Leanne turned into a girly girl around Christian. She still held her own, but gave into her heart. It really irritated me that Christian hurt her though, and if I were Leanne I would have made him grovel a little more than what she did in the book! It was touching that all the other firefighters took up for Leanne when Christian hurt her. She is an all around terrific heroine!

I thought this book was brilliant! Easy to read in one sitting it's so good! Tate is a good man and always does the right thing - who would've thought that trait could also be a BAD thing too? Abby is truly down on her luck but not afraid to take help from others if it comes down to that. She is grateful for what she has although it's not much and her love runs deeply for those she truly cares about. I went through a series of emotions when reading this book - sadness, hopefulness, doubt, worry, anger, and happiness! Love the way Allred writes and will be checking out many more of her books from the library soon!

Much to Alexis's surprise, however, Dan is good with his daughter. He also knows he needs help, so he convinces Alexis to act as a nanny until he gets this parenting thing down. And soon their uneasy friendship changes into an unlikely romance. But can a football player, a lawyer and a baby really make a family?

I enjoyed reading about a precious bundle of joy who brought an unlikely couple together and in the end everyone has a happy ending! Good read!

This was an entertaining book to read because the characters came alive as I read them from the page. Cole was a drifter who had lost his son and his wife and he had no intentions of every putting his heart on the line again. He came to Rachel's ranch to seek a temporary job and then move on, but it seems fate had different plans when a Rachel has to suddenly become a mommy and Cole ends up taking more of the daddy role than he's ready for. Since Rachel's Dad's death, she has barley been able to make ends meet to keep her ranch and the sexy drifter cowboy ranch hand is making it difficult to stay on task. She knows in her heart that Cole has to heal from his past wounds to get on with his life, but when they grow closer it's all she can do to not want to capture this cowboy's heart!

Loved this book! Dusty was not only a good looking, charming, and smart cowboy but also a caring Father! He did rodeo as his main occupation but wrote novels and screenplays on the side. There's just something super attractive about a sexy cowboy who also knows how to use his brain! One of my favorites!
